
POTTERS FIELDS PARK, LONDON
PAUSE INSTALLATION FOR LONDON FESTIVAL OF ARCHITECTURE
LFA Project Member for the University of Hertfordshire
(May-June 2019)
Duties include:
-
Unsupervised work in a team of 3, manually constructing a modular architectural installation for the London Festival of Architecture using only recycled materials
-
Using various hand and electrical tools to construct a functional 1:1 product
-
Demonstrating an in-depth knowledge of key health and safety standards used within the industry

Running a workshop for members of the public related to recycling, consumption, and waste
Key results:
-
Developed the project from the initial design stage, adjusting and fabricating the installation to form a final product as part of a team
-
Significantly improved communication and teamwork skills, working closely with 2 university peers to collaborate with architects, engineers, and product designers
-
Installation was displayed for public use in Potters Fields Park public space adjacent to Tower Bridge
-
Interaction with members of the public while leading a plastic and recycling workshop related to the installation
